Scenario: Imagine an architectural firm specializing in residential projects is now seeking to transform into a leader in sustainable, green architecture. The principal architect, Sarah, feels stuck in the traditional design and construction processes and wants to re-imagine her business to reflect ecological practices.

Step 1: Clarity of Vision

  • Coach’s Role: Help Sarah articulate her long-term vision. For example, “I want to become a firm known for designing energy-efficient homes with minimal environmental impact.”
  • Task: Define her transformation goals — what type of clients will she serve? Will she focus on new constructions, retrofitting existing structures, or sustainable urban planning?

Step 2: Assess Current State

  • Coach’s Role: Conduct a comprehensive analysis of Sarah’s current business model, assessing how her existing processes, staff skills, and clientele align with her new vision.
  • Task: Perform a SWOT analysis. Identify her firm’s current resources, skills, and gaps, such as insufficient knowledge in sustainable materials or green certifications.

Step 3: Skill Development
