I don’t watch woodworking videos to learn woodworking. Or, at least, not just to learn woodworking.

I watch them to remember that making things still matters. That hands still matter. That a garage, a good mic, and a shared idea can reach across time zones and tool shelves and make you believe in the quiet nobility of building something from scratch.

So today, I want to give out my own version of the “Woody Awards.” Not because I think I’m anyone special but because I believe in peer recognition. I believe in the power of saying: Hey, you , you’re doing something beautiful, and I see you.
